WHAT WE DO

Breaking down attitudinal barriers.

Recognizing the barriers our attitudes creates for neurodivergent children is the first step to creating a world where all children belong.

Awareness

Helping people recognize how everyday attitudes, assumptions and responses can create barriers for neurodivergent children and their families.

Understanding

Providing simple, practical resources that build understanding and reduce judgment in everyday interactions.

Allyship

Equipping individuals, families and community spaces with tools to create more welcoming and supportive environments.

Our 4 Core Pillars

Where We Create Change

Practical tools, lived experience and community allyship across four key domains.

Peers

Peer Groups & Friendships

Neurodivergent children often experience bullying, teasing and exclusion from peers who misunderstand their differences. Over time, these experiences can lead to social withdrawal and isolation, limiting opportunities to enjoy everyday childhood experiences such as playdates, birthday parties, recess and lunch breaks.

Support at Home and in the Community

Being misunderstood by loved ones can be especially difficult for neurodivergent children and their families. Judgments about behaviour, communication and parenting can make family gatherings uncomfortable. Over time, invitations may become less frequent, or families may begin declining them to avoid criticism.

Welcoming Spaces for Every Child

Faith groups, recreational facilities and community gatherings can unintentionally exclude neurodivergent children through rigid expectations, misconceptions and judgmental responses from staff, organizers and other participants.
